Shirataki or Konjac noodles are translucent, gelatinous noodles. These are the perfect noodle alternatives for those who suffer from any allergens such as wheat or eggs, as they are made from the corn of the Konjac yam, which is a Japanese plant.
Konjac Noodles are also very high in fibre, whilst still being beneficial for those on a low-calorie or calorific deficit diet.
How To Cook Konjac Noodles
Konjac noodles are fairly simple to cook, and are much quicker than traditional egg or wheat noodles, simply rinse and drain in cold water, add to a medium-hot watered pan for 2 minutes and you’re done!
