Clear information for every order.
This policy explains how we use and protect personal data and how to contact us if you need help.
The European Parliament and the Council Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (also known as “General Data Protection Regulation”) comes into effect on May 25, 2018. With regard to the above we kindly ask you to familiarize yourself with terms and conditions regulating the processing of your personal data as well as with the new rules regarding this issue that shall regulate it as of May 25, 2018.
What data are we talking about?
This pertains to the personal data that is collected when you use our online store and other features of the site, including information saved in cookie files.
Who will administer your data?
Bodyfirst.ie is responsible for your data. We use carefully selected service providers only where needed to operate the store, process payments, deliver orders, provide support and protect our services.
Why do we want to process your data?
We process your data for the purposes outlined in our policy, such as:
- to allow you to shop via our site,
- to deliver products you have ordered,
- to enable you to use a loyalty program,
- to provide you with better service security – detecting bots, scams and malpractices
- to analyse data, which in turn allows us
- to improve our services,
- to send marketing communications only where you have actively chosen to receive them.
Who can we transfer your data to?
We do not sell or rent customer data, and we do not provide it to marketing agencies for their own marketing. We share only the information needed with carefully selected service providers, such as payment, delivery, hosting, security, analytics and customer-support providers, to process orders, operate the store and provide support, or with public authorities where disclosure is required by law.
What are your rights with regard to your data?
You have the right to access your data, to correct it, to remove it or to limit its processing.
What is the legal basis for the processing of your data?
Each instance of processing of your personal data must be founded on an applicable legal basis, in compliance with the applicable law. The processing of your data for the purposes of providing services cannot be accomplished without a legal basis in the execution of service agreements (said agreements are usually in the form of “Terms and Conditions” or other similar documents featured in the services you use). The legal basis for the self-promotion of our site is the so-called “legitimate interest of the data administrator”.
